Rayne Police Chief Carroll Stelly stated that Drew David Maitreme-Compagno was arrested after an investigation was intiated from a concerned parent.
Chief Stelly added that the victim was under 13 years of age; therefore, the crime has enhanced penalties under Louisiana law.
Maitreme-Compagno is currently on probation and therefore is being held without bond by the Rayne Police Department.
