ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Heather Jo Habetz and Logan Chanzé Ervin Emerson have announced their engagement to be married on September 15, 2012, during a sunset beachfront ceremony to be officiated by Rev. Steve Durkac.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Robert J. Habetz and Priscilla “Pat” Keigley Habetz of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of the late William “Bill” Keigley and Vivian Boulet Keigley, formerly of Crowley, and the late Joseph Habetz and Anna Cramer Habetz, formerly of Rayne.

Heather is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and attended Louisiana State University at Eunice. She is currently employed by John N. John Trucking in Crowley.

The prospective groom is the son of Bonnie Dietz Emerson of Crowley and the late Robert “Bobby” Ervin Emerson, formerly of Eunice. He is the grandson of Dorothy Harrell Thornton of Livinston, Tex., the late Wilbert L. Dietz, formerly of Eunice, and the late Billy Elwood Emerson and Betty Miller Emerson, formerly of Eunice.

Logan is a 2002 graduate of Crowley High School and is currently employed by the Crowley Town Club.

The couple plans to reside in Crowley following the wedding.
