LAFAYETTE - Acadiana Center for the Arts is proud to present Lyle Lovett and his Large Band in a spectacular season opening gala in the sonically stunning James D. Moncus Theater. This event kicks off AcA's 2012-2013 Season and AllStar Series on September 5th at 8 p.m..

After his incredible Grand Opening performance at AcA's Moncus Theater in 2010, Lovett returns with his large, 17-piece band and a brand new album in tow. This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the world's most charismatic and brilliant performers of old-school country music in the intimacy of a 300-seat, perfect sounding venue. As a promise from the AcA, this is a lifetime experience - you can't get any closer to Lyle Lovett and his Large Band anywhere else.

Tickets are priced at $150, $120, and $100 and will benefit the AcA's upcoming season, featuring a diverse and star-studded lineup of music, dance, theater and family performances.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday August 1st (AcA members only), and Tuesday, August 7th (general public).
