Chief Carroll Stelly advised that the case originated in Lafayette with Metro Narcotics becoming aware of Misty Brandenburg who worked in a physician’s office and was stealing prescription pads. The above individuals conspired with Brandenburg to illegally obtain Hydrocodone, Alprazolam and Carisoprodol tablets. The investigation concluded that 3,370 tablets of the above medication was put on the street with a value of $37,300.
Currently Misty Brandenburg and Dwayne Lavergne are at large and wanted by law enforcement for their participation in this case.
