Rayne - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. for Fernest John Navarre, Sr. , 53 who died Thursday, August 2, 2012 in University Medical Center.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are three daughters, Carita Doudio, Barbara Navarre and Charlene Patt; four sons, David Navarre, Fernest Navarre, Jr., Lynn Navarre and Allen Navarre; 10 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild; his mother Hazel Daigle Reynolds; three sisters, Sandra Navarre of Lafayette, Cynthia Burgess and husband Kenneth of Orange, TX, and Angelia Navarre and companion David Bernard of Vinton; three brothers, Nelson Navarre and wife Terry of Vinton, Wallace Navarre and wife Cheryl of Lafayette and Mitchell Navarre and wife Vicky of Sulphur.

He was preceded in death by his father Wallace Navarre, Sr.; maternal Grandparents Noah and Sadie Castille; maternal Grandfather Fernest Daigle; paternal Grandparents Willie and Elizabeth Navarre; niece Tammy Mire; and one nephew Mark Mire.

He was born Wednesday, April 15, 1959 in Lafayette, La, Son of the late Wallace Navarre, Sr. and Hazel Daigle Reynolds.

Friends will be received 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., Saturday, August 4,; 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., Sunday, August 5 and 8:00 A.M. until Services, Monday August 6, 2012. at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
