DUSON – Duson Police Chief Frank Andrew announced Thursday that the Keiosha Felix case will have a new lead investigator.

Assistant Chief Lt. Gerald Credeur was removed due to substandard performance. Andrew would not give any specific reasons for the removal.

The Duson Police Department is conducting an internal investigation in order to decide how to proceed.

Andrew stated a new lead investigator would be announced Friday.
