The Rayne Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Fais Do Do this Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Rayne Civic Center.

The doors open at 12 noon and the first band, Cajun Heat will perform from 1 to 2 p.m. Horace Trahan will follow from 3 to 6 p.m. Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin’ Cajuns will entertain from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Closing the night out will be Geno Delafose from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m.

The fais do-do will feature food, refreshments, half-and-half drawings, gun raffles and silent and live auctions.

All these good bands and fun for only a $5 admission.

We also have plenty of camper spots near the civic center for $20 a night for those who don’t want to drive after the fais do-do. For camper information, contact city hall at 334-3121.
