BATON ROUGE – Services for former Hibernia Bank executive Donald Fontenot will be Friday. He died Sept. 3 at age 79.
He was retired senior vice president of human resources at Hibernia.
Survivors include his wife Marjorie, two sons and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Green Oaks.
Long-time GOP activist
NEW ORLEANS – Services for long-time Republican Party activist Ruth Nungesser will be Friday. She died Sept. 3 at age 79.
She held a variety of posts in family businesses including Algiers Canning and Sales, Gem o’ the Ocean and General Marine Catering. She was a former delegate to the Republican National Convention and a charter member of the Republican Women of Louisiana.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Mothe, Harvey.
