RAYNE - Mr. and Mrs. James K. Leach of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Katherine Leach to Mark Edward Alleman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don H. Alleman of Rayne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kresse of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. Martha Leach of Bossier City and the late Mr. James A. Leach.

Erin attended St. Thomas More Catholic High School in Lafayette and Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, where she earned a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in public relations from the Manship School of Mass Communications in 2010. She is currently employed with Schumacher Group in Lafayette.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Daigle of Church Point and Mr. and Mrs. Dalfred Alleman of Rayne.

Mark, who attended Notre Dame High School in Crowley and Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, is a graduate of the Louisiana Culinary Institute in Baton Rouge. He is the owner and executive chef of Cravin’ Cajun Seafood, a catering company based in Lafayette.

The couple will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on the evening of Friday, October 12, 2012. Father Buddy Breaux will officiate the ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne.

Following a honeymoon wedding trip, Mark and Erin will reside in Lafayette.
