Duson—A gathering of friends and family celebrating the life of Christopher Dean Miller, 18, will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the home of Bonnie and James Decker, 9017 Cameron Street, Duson.

Beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin, Christopher passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10:35 A.M. in a Lafayette hospital.

Christopher was born in Chicago, IL, and was a resident of Lafayette. He was assisting in a construction project at the time of his passing.

Survivors include his mother, Melissa Miller; his father; sisters, Karyn Staufer and Madison White; brother, Mason White; grandparents, Karen Saidai and Anthony Miller, and Judy and Tom Staufer; aunts and uncles, Homayoun, Haydeh, Nicholas, Nicole, Tara, and Jean Saidai, Dawn and David Davidson, Kristi and Matt Ward, and Shannon and Cameron Haque.

Dean White, whom Christopher considered his step-father, lost his life as the result of the same accident which claimed Christopher’s life.
