BATON ROUGE - LSU will play a fourth straight night game in Tiger Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 29 as ESPNU will televise the Tigers' non-conference game against Towson, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
Kickoff between LSU and Towson is slated for 6 p.m. Towson, which will be making its first trip to Tiger Stadium, is currently 1-1 overall and ranked No. 12 in the nation in the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly 1-AA).
It will mark the first time since 2009 that LSU's first four home games will carry a night kickoff. That year, LSU played all seven of its home games at night - hosting Vanderbilt, Louisiana-Lafayette, Florida, Auburn, Tulane, Louisiana Tech and Arkansas under the lights in Tiger Stadium.
