PINEVILLE – The dean of Louisiana College’s as-yet-unopened law school has resigned to accept another position.

The Shreveport-based law school is supposed to open next fall.

J. Michael Johnson, an attorney widely known as a spokesman for religious conservatism, was hired two years ago to guide the school in its formative stages.

LC President Joe Aguillard told The Town Talk the college will conduct a national search for a permanent dean.
