SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, MEXICO - Mr. and Mrs. William Davis LaCalle of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Adele LaCalle, to Travis Michel, son of Mr. Michael Michel of Franklin and Ms. Phyllis Michel of Lafayette.

Miss LaCalle graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and received a doctorate in audiology from A. T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz. She is presently an audiologist at the Austin State Supported Living Center in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Michel graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in engineering management at the University of Texas at Austin. He is presently a project manager at RPS Espey in Austin, Texas.

Miss LaCalle is the granddaughter of Mrs. Claire Smith of Eunice, and the late Harry Alvin Smith, Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester LaCalle.

Mr. Michel is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kearney Boudreaux from Baldwin, Louisiana, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dalton C. Michel from Plaquemine, Louisiana.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at five o’clock in the afternoon on November 23, 2012 in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico.
