A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice, with Msgr. Robert Romero, officiating for Yvonne Marie Seaux Geerts, 39, who on October 5, 2012.

Burial followed in St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.

She was born on January 11, 1973.

She is survived by her her mother, Linda, an stepfather Deacon Gary Gaudin of Eunice; maternal grandmother, Ernestine Broussard of Duson; her father, Linton J. Seaux and stepmother, Edith Seaux, both of Rayne; her son, Alexander Geerts of Carencro; her daughter, Brittany Duploantis of Carencro; her stepbrother, Stephen C. Gaudin of Crowley; her stepsister, Yvette G. Niesel of Sydney, Australia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. and reopened at 9 a.m. Monday until services. A rosary was prayed by Father Nathan Comeaux Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice.
