CROWLEY - Mallory Jane Miller of Crowley and Matthew Troy Gaspard of Sulphur have announced their commitment to be wed on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Crowley. Father Jared Suire will officiate the 7 p.m. nuptials.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bonnie Hains Miller of Crowley and Michael Miller of Iota. Her maternal grandparents are John E. and Beverly B. Hains of Crowley, and her paternal grandparents are Larry and Jackie Miller of Iota.

Mallory is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2011 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, where she was a member of the McNeese Student Nursing Association. Mallory is currently employed at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

The groom-elect is the son of Denny and Stephanie Russell of Sulphur and David Gaspard of Eunice. He is the grandson of Ken and Charlotte Carlin of Sulphur.

Matthew graduated from Sulphur High School in 2005 and earned an associate’s degree in corrosion technology from Kilgore College in Kilgore, Tex. in 2009. He is presently employed with the Sulphur Police Department.

Following their marriage, the couple will reside in Lake Charles.
