SHREVEPORT – Services for home builder Michael Penn will be Thursday. He died Nov. 5 at age 55.
He was project manager for a number of large projects for Whitaker Construction before founding Penn Homes in 1992. He was a former Small Business Person of the Year and was an officer in the La. Home Builders Assn. and its Builder of the Year in 2011. He was a director of the National Assn. of Home Builders.
Survivors include his wife Jodi, a son and two daughters.
Arrangements are by Rose-Neath.
3-war aviator
BOSSIER CITY – Services for former chief of security at Barksdale AFB and 27-year B-52 pilot Col. Maynard Park will be Friday. He died this week at age 88.
He was a combat veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Survivors include four children.
Arrangements are by Hill Crest Memorial.
