A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott, La. for Pearl Manuel, 82, who passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 3:35 p.m. at Lady of the Oaks Nursing Home in Lafayette.

Fr. Kendal Faulk, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, La. will be officiating for the services.

The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Monday, November 12, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. until the time of services.  Interment will be in St. Peter and Paul Church in Scott.

Ms. Pearl was born in Iota to Etienne Reed and Eva L. LeJeune.

She is survived by four sons, Charles and wife, Jill of Phoenix, AZ., Donald and wife, Aline, Kenneth and wife, Lillian and Daniel and wife, Kathleen all of Lafayette; two daughters, Dianna and husband, Steve Chauvin of Youngsville and precious little girl, Anna Renee’ Manuel of Scott; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Ethel McDaniel of Lake Charles and two step brothers, Earl Rollins of Lafayette and Cecil Rollins of Ville Platte.

Ms. Pearl was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Gail Manuel; her husband, Wilson Manuel; one great-grandson, Zane Carter Manuel; her parents, Etienne Reed and Eva L. LeJeune and one brother, Herbert LeJeune.
