ACADIA PARISH - Another road has been closed due to high waters.

The Pontoon Bridge in Estherwood (La. 91) has been closed.

The Crowley Police Department has also issued a warning via its Facebook page concerning sightseers in the city.

"Barricades are being handled by City Hall’s Street Department - 337-788-4100. Waters are not receding. Various areas of the city are heavily flooded. Sightseers stay off of the roadways because you are pushing water into homes. Persons continually sightseeing will be cited for violation of law."

You can find a link to the Louisiana State Police's website concerning road closures on the top of our homepage. As of now, eight major highways in the parish have been closed due to high waters.
