The Krewe of Atlantis will host its 17th annual ball and pageant on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Hotel Acadiana in Lafayette, beginning at 8 p.m. The theme of the ball was “All Aboard the Zydeco Train”.

Set to reign over the 2013 festivities is Queen Hera XVI, Elizabeth Richard Credeur. Married to Allen Credeur, she is the mother of Kim Roy, Kevin Credeur married to Jolene, and Kory Credeur married to Nancy. Elizabeth is also the grandmother to Chris and Nick Roy, Alex, Kaylee and Kollin Credeur. She is a member of the Krewe of Atlantis and Krewe of Olympus.

Serving as Royal Maids are:

Bettie Thibodeaux, married to Wayne Thibodeaux, is mother to Ricky, Sean and Cherie, and grandmother to Mandy, Jordan, Kasey, Korey, Cody and Summer. She is a member of the Krewe of Atlantis, Krewe of Olympus and SBA.

Cynthia Prejean, married to Johnny Prejean, is the mother of Blair married to Jamie, and grandmother to Camille Prejean.She is a member of the Krewe of Atlantis and LPOP Catholic Daughters.

Debbie McFarland, mother of Crystal married to Melvin Smith, and Jeremy married to Sarah, and grandmother to Brittni, Bailee and Brylei Smith and Wiley Urban. She is a member of the Krewe of Atlantis.

Jeanette Lanclos, married to Glenn, is mother to Ryan married to Rami, and Rachel married to Derrick, and grandmother to Jayden, Kaynen and Kate Lanclos and Drake and Morgan Melancon. She is a member of the Krewe of Atlantis and a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Ladies Altar Society.

Serving as Ball Mistress is Helen Kennedy and Master of Ceremonies will be Donald Richard.
