Reports in Crowley show that the water is already backing up back onto North Parkerson Avenue.
Even before rain re-enters the forecast, Wednesday night and Thursday morning's heavy downpours have found no home and are once again backing up onto many roads in the parish.
According to the Louisiana State Police's website, 11 highways have closures due to the high waters.
Law enforcement reminds residents if they come to a road with water on it to not continue along the road as there is no way to tell how deep the water truly goes moving forward.
