ESTHERWOOD – Lucille Comeaux Frugé was granted her angel wings on Jan. 14, 2013. Her final days were spent surrounded with her family by her side.

Lucille enjoyed her daily walks, working with her gardens, puzzles and passing a good time with family and friends. She also loved dancing and her Cajun music. She belonged to the Ladies Altar Society and was a devoted servant to the church, always willing to help others in need.

Lucille is survived by one daughter, Janie F. Perry and husband Mike of Sulphur; one son, Howard Frugé and wife Peggy of Morse; two brothers, Jacques Comeaux and Wilfred Comeaux and wife Grace; one sister, Pat Helmer; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.P Frugé; her parents, Ulysse and Odelia Meaux Comeaux; and four brothers, Ralph, Alvin, Sheldon and Edward.

A memorial service celebrating Lucille’s life will be held at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Estherwood on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. and will be officiated by Monsignor Russell Harrington.
