Escorted by her father, Eleanor was gorgeous in a full-length ivory gown embroidered with delicate lace applique. The strapless, slim-fitted gown featured a sweetheart neckline and Swarovski crystals that defined the empire waistline. The slim A-line skirt flowed into a semi-cathedral train, and Eleanor added a lovely lace bolero with cap sleeves, creating a keyhole back. She selected a fingertip-length veil to compliment her dress.
Eleanor carried a clutch bouquet of white garden roses, ranunculus, white hydrangea blooms, silver brunia and dusty miller accented with miniature pinecones.
The bride’s paternal great-grandfather’s prayer book, used by the ring bearer to carry the couple’s rings, served as “something old,” and her wedding dress was “something new.” A Blessed Mother medal loaned by the bride’s mother and tied into her bouquet was “something borrowed,” and a rosary, also entwined in her bouquet was “something blue.”
Kathryn Murrell, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Analie Casanova, cousin of the bride; Amy Simon and Jessica Jimenez, sisters of the groom; and Valerie Lyons, friend of the bride.
The attendants wore floor-length dresses in Turkish blue crinkle silk chiffon. The gathered bodices featured one-shoulder necklines with ruffle details at the shoulder seams.
They carried hand-tied bouquets of dried and preserved dusty miller, silver brunia, caspia, baby’s breath and tallow berries.
