CROWLEY - Children’s musician Aaron Nigel Smith will perform onstage at the Grand Opera House of the South on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at 7 p.m. as part of the Family Series that is sponsored by Ted and Judy Carmichael and Family.

Smith’s mission is to share his love for music and movement with the world. In 2002, his “FUNdamentals of Music and Movement” was established. It is an arts program that is used in many U.S. cities. This fun and interactive show will delight audiences of all ages.

He has appeared on such shows as PBS Kids “Between the Lions” and participated in the National Education Association’s “Read Across America” campaign.

In 2012 Smith’s CD “Welcome to the Village” featured the voices of over 300 children from New York, Los Angeles, Portland and the Cura Rotary Home near Nairobi, Kenya. Its sales benefit the Cura Home there.
