Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M., with a rosary being recited at 9:00 A.M., in Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
Tabatha passed away after a long a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1:50 A.M. in her mother’s Rayne residence.
A lifelong resident of Rayne, Tabatha was a graduate of Rayne High School. She was also a graduate of Louisiana Technical College in Lafayette, where she earned her degree in early childhood development. Her dream was to open and operate a child care facility.
Tabatha was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne. She will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends.
Survivors include her sons, D’Montre Milstead, Daniel Milstead, Jr., and Dredon Milstead, all of Rayne; fiancé, LaDeria Charles of Rayne; mother, Helen Green and husband, Declon of Rayne; siblings, Declon, Jr. of Spring, TX, Anetra of Rayne, Jules, Jr., Reginald, and Chavon of Crowley, Inghel, Cutrina, Cutina, and Kirsten of Rayne, Rita, Tiffany, and Nicole of Baton Rouge, John JoAnn, Jules, Chris, Julevarrous, and Tia of Houston, TX, Ronald of North Carolina, Julia of Youngsville, and Tren of Apple Valley, MN.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding Tabatha in death was her father, Jules Milstead, Sr.
