Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, March 4, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. for Lydia Guidry, 100, who died Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Crowley.

Interment were in the St. Theresa Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Guidry Sonnier of Rayne and Lula Mae Simon; one son, Andrus Guidry of Rayne; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and on to be a great- great-great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Guidry; her parents, Adam Richard and Azama Thruvet Richard; one brother, Caliste Richard; two sisters, Ethel Simon and Edna Guidry.

She was born Sunday, November 3, 1912 in Lafayette, LA, daughter of the late Adam Richard and the late Azama Thruvet Richard.

Friends were received 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 3 ,and 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, A Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
