Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held on Friday, April 4, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Leonard Alexander Jr., 70, who passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at his residence. Interment followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.

Mr. Alexander was a member of the C.B. Club for many years.

Survivors include his son, Bobby of Breaux Bridge; four brothers, Harold Alexander, Joseph Alexander and Lawrence Alexander, all of Lafayette, and William Alexander of St. Martinville; two sisters, Mary Ann Alexander of Breaux Bridge and Florence Sylvester of Lafayette; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Demouchet; his daughter, Eula Demouchet; two brothers, Harris and Earl Alexander; and five sisters, Bertha Alexander, Mary Alice Alexander, Helen Alexander, Ella Mae Alexander and Eula Celestine.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
