On hand for the 19th Annual Capital Juried Art Competition at the Crowley Art Gallery were Robert Baxter, committee member; Shirley Griffin, president; Gwen Richard, Lafayette; Becky Faulk, gallery coordinator; Steve Breaux, Lafayette Fine Art Judge; Bill Henderson, and Virginia Duson, committee members.
Judges for the show included Steve Breaux, UL Art Professor and Gwen Richard, Community Development Coordinator with the Acadiana Arts Council in Lafayette.
Members of the Juried Art Committee included Becky Faulk, gallery coordinator; Robert Baxter, display chairman; Virginia Duson, Delena Rouse, Mary Suire, Bill Henderson, and Shirley Griffin, president.
The committee wishes to thank Mr. Kenny Privat, trustee of the Florence Mouboules Charitable Trust, and Mr. Jude Sittig, regional administrator of Southwind Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, and Summerwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their generous donations of prize monies for the winners.
