The camp lasts five weeks and will encompass a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, such as an interactive motivational show, field trips, and a Maori dance theater sponsored by the Acadiana Arts Council.
Also on the agenda is a reading program to be sponsored by the Acadia Parish Library, a health fair, fine arts, as well as other educationally enhancing activities.
The program will be held at both the Rice Festival building and the Martin Luther King Center.
Registration forms are available at all Crowley schools, City Hall, Korky’s Supermarket, P.J.’s, Superfoods, P & L grocery, the City of Crowley Public Housing Authority, C & G Grocery, all Shop Rites, local churches, and Crowley’s recreation department. The fee is $10, and forms must be turned in to City Hall by June 2.
