Newly installed officers are Mary Beth Geesey, President; Suzanne Gray, Vice President; Muff Bier, Treasurer; and Bobbie Chambers, Treasurer.
Serving as hostesses for the meeting were the outgoing officers, Mary Beth Geesey, Suzanne Gray, Carolyn Barousse, and Joan Hoffpauer. The installation was conducted by Sarah Bercier.
President Mary Beth Geesey gave an overview of the club’s civic accomplishments and social activities during the current club year. She especially praised the group for the outstanding programs that were presented this year. M’elise Trahan gave a report on the recent scholarship that was presented to Celeste Guidry, a graduating senior from Notre Dame High School. Donations of toiletries and other items were collected for the Faith House.
Following the meeting, delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses to Bobbie de la Houssaye, Betty Faulk, Jackie Fogleman, Mary Freeland, Peggy Landry, Georgie Petitjean, Peggy Sandidge, Barbara Scanlan, and those previously mentioned.
