Area emergency personnel responded to an accident in the 1800 block of Whiteville Road (state Highway 29 north) Thursday, June 12, shortly after 3 p.m. Two ambulances were sent to the scene by Acadian Ambulance for persons with multiple injuries. Troop I worked the accident. The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted. No other information was available at press time.
