CROWLEY – The City of Crowley is announcing the schedule of events for JulyFete 2008, which will take place July 4 at the Crowley Enterprise Grounds on North Parkerson Ave.

The Master of Ceremonies will be Crowley Mayor Greg A. Jones, who will deliver a welcoming message. The evening will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with an opening prayer by Reverend Jimmy Broussard, The Posting of Colors by the Crowley Fire Department, and the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem by Hunter Lambert.

The live entertainment will kick off at 5 p.m., when Step Rideau & the Zydeco Outlaws will take the stage until 7:15 p.m. They will be followed by Benjy Davis Project from 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fireworks display will light up the sky from 9 p.m. to 9:25 p.m., and Benjy Davis Project will return to the stage from 9:25 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Please do not bring pets or ice chests. Food items and refreshments will be sold by local and commercial vendors.
