Eunice police are searching for an unnamed second suspect in a July 31 attempted murder at Beulah Gardens.

One alleged shooter, Jeddimeyer Vallere, 18, of 112 Spatz Road, was jailed Aug. 5 on two counts of attempted 2nd-degree murder and one of criminal damage to property.

He is alleged to have been the driver of a vehicle from which shots were fired and struck two occupied apartments and another vehicle. His passenger is the second suspect.

Police did not say what led to the gunfire or who the intended victims were.
