Brennan and Angie Young of Basile are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Blair Young to James (Jim) Louis Hebert, son of James and Mary Hebert of Basile. She is the granddaughter of Jimmy Bertrand, the late Judy Bertrand and Norbert and Helena Young, all of Basile.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Basile High School and is employed as Director of Apple Tree Daycare in Basile.

He is the grandson of Wanda Henderson and the late Homer Henderson of Frankston, Texas, and the late Xoexo and Annie Hebert of Jena, La.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Basile High School and is employed at La. Crane, Inc., in Eunice as a crane operator.

The couple will exchange vows during a 6 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, September 27 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile.
