A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 05, 2008 at 3:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Lola Huguet, 88, who passed away on Tuesday, September 02, 2008 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. Burial to follow in the Gates of Heaven Mausoleum in Ville Platte with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

A Loving grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lola is survived by her four grandchildren, Beth Christ of Eunice, Chancley Wilson of Pittsburg, Penn, Jerry Sylvester of Prairieville and Michael Sylvester of Clinton; caretaker, Bobby Doucet of Ville Platte and eight great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Huguet; three children, J.W. Sylvester, Jerry Sylvester, and Jimmy Sylvester, and one grandson, Johnny Sylvester.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Friday, September 05, 2008 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice from 1:00 pm until time of services.
