In the Pigskin Picks, photographer Bruce Campbell capped week one with a 9-1 mark. Nick Jagneaux, Heather Bogard, Richard Guillory, Jennifer Allison and Paul Fontenot each placed second with an 8-2 score. Michael Bordelon and David Ortego took third with 7-3 scores.
Goldie Fontenot wins the first week of the Football Contest. She had only three marks against her in the games that were played. She was tied with Hurley Vidrine, who also missed only three, but she won the tie-breaker. Chester Frank Jr. took the third slot with only four missed games.
Hopefully week two will have both contests back to normal. All games are scheduled to be played.
