CROWLEY – Investigators with the Crowley Police Department have arrested a Crowley man and have charged him two counts of aggravated rape and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

John Allen Schexnider, 27, has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail with bond being set at $400,000 by District Judge Glennon Everett.

Investigators received a complaint regarding Schexnider and his relationship with a juvenile, which was 12 years old. “Louisiana state law regarding Aggravated Rape defines the violation as sexual intercourse with a victim under the age of 13 years. Lack of knowledge of the victim’s age shall not be a defense” stated Chief K.P. Gibson.
