Services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. for Jessie L. Young, 75, who died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 4:03 p.m. at his residence in Crowley. The funeral service will be at Northside Assembly of God Church in Crowley with the Reverend Lloyd Singley officiating.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Northside Assembly of God Church and will last until the time of service.

Burial will follow the service at Acadia Rest Haven Cemetery in Crowley, La.

Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Linda Young of Crowley, La.; one son Benson Young Sr. of Crowley, La.; one daughter Madge Robinson of Crowley, La.; three stepsons Kevin Hebert of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daniel Hebert of Crowley, La., and John Breaux Jr. of Crowley, La.; four stepdaughters, Michelle Hebert of Breaux Bridge, La., Jennifer Bias of Crowley, La., Stephanie Hebert of Crowley, La., and Pamela Monroe of Crowley, La.; as well as four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and seventeen step grandchildren.

Mr. Young is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Bell Greenman; his parents, Duclide and Louisa Bertrand Young; one brother, Ivan Young, and one sister, Mabel Young Foreman.
