H.P. Warden

Is Preparing

Local History

H.P. Warden, well known planter and business man, is preparing a history of Delhi and Macon Ridge and it will be ready for print within the next few weeks. Mr. Warden is quite a student of local history and the connections of Delhi in the history of the country.

Mr. Warden has written a great number of letters to Washington and other places where authentic information regarding this section may be obtained.

After getting all data together, he plans to compile a complete history of this section. One of the most important things in which Mr. Warden is interested is where this section received its name, nobody in this section having authentic data along that line.

Cutler

Chevrolet

Company Selling Many New Cars

According to Ralph and Clarence Cutler, of the Cutler Chevrolet Company, their sales since opening their place here has been far greater than their fondest anticipation.

This new company has sold already this year more than twice the number they had contracted for the entire year and the year is only half gone.

Willard Farmer, of the Cutler Co., stated that their only trouble now was in getting cars, the demands being greater than their capacity.

Mr. Farmer stated, however, that they were always able to fill orders, even if they had to borrow from dealers in other localities.
