According to police reports, he was involved in an accident on Hwy. 190 about 8 p.m. Friday and fled on foot as offices arrived to investigate.
It turns out they suspected he might have been the driver involved in a hit and run earlier in the day.
About an hour later, police were called to a disturbance in which a man and woman were arguing over her wrecked vehicle.
You guessed it -- turns out Hutchinson was the man being berated.
Police arrested him on charges of hit and run, failure to yield the right way, leading to an accident, no driver's license and probation and parole violation.
