Laurie Marie Huval and Jonah Brasseaux announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage on Friday, December 5, 2008, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at Poche Bridge Country Club in Breaux Bridge. The bride-elect is the daughter of Aubrey J. Huval of Parks and Charleen M. Huval of Breaux Bridge, and the granddaughter of Anthony and Joyce Molbert of Breaux Bridge and the late Lucy Molbert, Adley and Lydia Huval. She is a graduate of Breaux Bridge High School and is employed by Accel Protection and Technologies, LLC. The groom-elect is the son of Linda Brasseaux and the late Gary Brasseaux, and the grandson of Germaine Brasseaux of Breaux Bridge and the late Horance Brasseaux and Raymond and Bernice Robin. He is a graduate of Cecilia High School and is employed by Johnson’s Electric.
