Acadia Parish Sheriff’s officials investigate the scene of a homicide on La. 95 west of Church Point. According to Sheriff’s officials an 88-year-old man was killed and his 2002 GMC Gray pickup bearing the license number W200634 was missing. Sheriff Wayne Melancon stated that details were still sketchy and the name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
