Erin Leigh Cart of Iota will become the bride of Blake Anthony Cuccio of Crowley during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Wolff Ballroom Courtyard in Washington,Louisiana. Reverend Randy Trahan will officiate the exchanging of their vows.

The future bride is the daughter of Sheila Cart of Iota and the late Stanley Cart. She is the granddaughter of Harvey and Anna Hebert of Egan and Robert E. Cart and the late Marja Nell Cart of Iota.

Erin is a 2002 graduate of Iota High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in interpersonal and organizational communications and will receive her certification in secondary education for speech and English in May of this year. She is currently employed with the Diocese of Lafayette as a language arts teacher at St. Francis School in Iota.

The prospective groom is the son of Christopher and Janet Cuccio of Rayne. He is the grandson of Eunice Guidry of Rayne and the late August Guidry and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cuccio of Crowley and JoAnn Huval of Broussard.

Blake is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor of arts degree in interpersonal and organizational communications. He is currently employed as an electrical contractor with Chris’ Electrical Services, Inc. in Lafayette.

Following the wedding the couple has plans to reside in Crowley.
