
Faith House held its annual Second Chance Dance, a fund raiser, at the Ville Platte Civic Center Friday, February 29. The event achieved its goals through the support of our local businesses and volunteers. Donations were made by many for the successful silent auction. De Ja Vue entertained the crowd during the evening’s festivities. A surprise donation was given on behalf of the Children’s Mardi Gras Run to Faith House. Organizers of the run who made the donation to Danielle David, marketing and public relations coordinator for Faith House; Faith House Children’s Advocate Annie Edwards and Faith House Women’s Advocate Kay Thompson were Citizens Bank Public Relations Director Renee Brown and Children’s Mardi Gras Run coordinators’ Roxanne Miller, Laurie Brassette and Judy Hesnor.
