The Greater Abbeville-Vermilion Chamber of Commerce Customers Service Award was handed out recently to Bay City Ford’s Corey Menard.

Menard is a salesman for Bay City Ford in Abbeville.

Ray Dugas III nominated Menard for the award.

“Corey took a lot of time looking for the car to fit our needs,” said Dugas.

“Corey made many phone calls to dealerships in Louisiana and Texas once we decided on the type of vehicle. I never felt pressured to make a deal, especially with the market and economy,” he added.

The award from the Chamber of Commerce is to recognize individuals who display an attitude of concern, warmth and hospitality to those they serve.

This individual takes the extra step to ensure that all customers feel important and welcome, and that all expectations are not only met but exceeded.

Menard is the first to receive the award from the Chamber.
