RAYNE – Funeral services for Lynette Rose Meche of Rayne, 43, who died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley, were held Saturday, June 27, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne at 10 a.m.

A Rosary was said Friday, June 26, 2009 in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial took place at Arceneaux Cemetery in Mire.

Visitation took place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and the funeral home reopened at 8 a.m. on Saturday with viewing until the time of services.

She is survived by her parents, Linda and Milton Meche of Duson; three brothers, Chris Meche of Rayne, Lonnie Meche of Shreveport and Donnie Meche of Duson; and one half-brother, Cody Meche of Rayne.

Ms. Meche is preceded in death by one half-brother, Edgar Cambell.

Duson Funeral Home of Rayne has been entrusted with the arrangements.
