A total of four nine-inning games are on tap for the opening day beginning with Lafayette’s Delhomme Drillers taking on Gauthier Amedee at 9:30 a.m.
Jesuit-based Retif Oil will take on Huntington in the second game at 12:30 p.m. while Captain Shreve will play Brother Martin-based Peake BMW at 4:30 p.m.
The Millers will play in the nightcap, taking on Plaquemine at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday’s slate also consists of four games with the two losers brackets contests at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The two winners bracket games will be played at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
