Mr. John Simon and Mrs. Gwen Simon of Crowley are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Andrea Dawn Simon to Trey Joseph Romero. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen Trahan and the late Andrew Cormier and the late Hubert “Bobbie” and Lillies Simon, all of Crowley. She is a graduate of LTC Acadian Campus in Medical Office Assistant and CNA. She is currently a stay at home mom.

Trey is the son of Otis and Connie Romero of Rayne. He is the grandson of Willie Richard and the late Earline Richard of Duson and Jimmy and Bertha Romero of Rayne. He is attending adult education seeking his GED and currently working at Quality Cargo Packing in Rayne.

The couple plan to exchange vows at Knights of Columbus hall in Crowley on October 3, 2009. Rev. Jimmy Broussard will officiate the 2 p.m. services. They will reside in Crowley after their nuptials are exchanged.
