Visitation took place Monday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and will continue on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
Chad is survived by his wife, Laura Schwinn LeJeune of Crowley; their daughters, Emme and Ava LeJeune and his daughter, Anna LeJeune; three step-sons, Hunter, Jake and Alec Richard; his father, Rudolph LeJeune of Estherwood; seven brothers, Thomas LeJeune and his wife Lisa of Crowley, Derwin LeJeune and his wife Joann of Morse, Dolan LeJeune and his wife Liz of Estherwood, Dexter LeJeune and his wife Dawn of Crowley, Bryan LeJeune of Estherwood, Shane LeJeune and his wife Michelle, and Jean LeJeune of Crowley; one sister, Nicole Guidry of Crowley; four half-brothers, Crawford, Artay, Ernie and Lionel LeJeune, all of Estherwood; one half-sister, Linda LeJeune of Kaplan; two godchildren, Gabriel LeJeune and Peyton Guidry, both of Crowley, his mother and father-in-law, Myra and Roger Schwinn of Crowley; two sister-in-laws, Anah LeJeune and her husband Larry of Estherwood and Candice Schwinn of Egan; three brother-in-laws, Benjamin, Quinton and Mitchell Schwinn, all of Crowley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann LeJeune; his maternal grandparents, John “Jean” Guidry and his wife Avia Richard Guidry; and his step-father, Isaac LeJeune.
Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas, Derwin, Dolan, Dexter, Jean and Larry LeJeune, and Quinton Schwinn and Ryan Foreman. His honorary pallbearers will include Shane LeJeune, Hunter, Jake and Alec Richard, and Benjamin Schwinn.
Chad was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to spend time with his family.
