The Crowley Police Department is investigating the disappearance of the face of Edwin Edwards, which was located on an historic marker in front of the Acadia Parish Courthouse in Crowley. It came to the attention of the public Tuesday afternoon. I just think it’s ashamed that people have nothing better to do than to deface other people’s property,” said a courthouse employee. Anyone with information regarding the theft is urged to contact local authorities.
