CROWLEY – Funeral Services will be Friday, September 18, 2009 at 9:00 am in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley, La. for Betty Trumps, 54, who passed away Wednesday September 16, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. at her home in Crowley, La. Officiating the services will be Deacon Jim Davis.

Survivors include her husband, Valarien “Cajun” Trumps, of Crowley, La.; three sisters, Barbara Pousson, Tina Navarre and Wanda Navarre, all of Crowley, La.; three brothers, Gilbert Navarre, Ervin Navarre and Sam Navarre, all of Crowley, La.; three godchildren, Rhodessa Credeur, Edmond Hoffpauir and Robert Navarre, all of Crowley, La.; two special nephews, Richard Trahan and Tony Navarre of Crowley, La.; seven nephews, Robert Navarre, Pyio Navarre, Joey Navarre, Bozo Navarre, Joe Breaux, Theodore Trumps and Nicky Navarre, all of Crowley, La.; three special nieces, Kathy Hanks, Linda Trahan and Emeatile Navarre, all of Crowley, La.; and several great nephews and nieces.

Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Emeatile Navarre; father, Edmond Navarre, Sr.; two sisters, Rosline Lavergne and Hazel Smith; and one brother, Edmond Navarre, Jr.

Visitation began on Thursday at 7 p.m. and will continue until the time of services on Friday. A Rosary was recited Thursday. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery , Lyons Point, La. under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Crowley, La.
